they don't call these the Blue Ridge Mountains for nothing and, when you're in the Smokies section of them you also get those layers and layers of blue with fog in every crevice. i can't count the times i've stood in this very spot and, each time it amazes me. i hope that never goes away.. i can't imagine why it would.
