After visiting the beautiful village of Monreal with my wife and my daughters in the afternoon, i headed back there in the evening for photography.
Monreal is a picturesque medieval village in the Eifel (Germany), which is guarded by two castle ruins, the ”Löwenburg“ and the ”Phillipsburg“.
The impression of a deserted village we got during our visit with the family was established when i shot this image during the blue hour. I was hoping for some nicely lit windows, but strangely enough there weren’t barely any.
I am sure it hadn’t anything to do with the lack of electricity, because i experienced my personal clone catastrophy with the huge amount of power wires i erased digitally for the sake of cleanliness of the shot.
