The photo was taken at home. Allyah is a water baby she loves splashing about and bubbles so is always happy when she has both together.Time
The image was taken mid afternoon the bathroom normally gets the light in the morning so can become dark around Mid afternoon.Lighting
I was able to balance the lighting adjusting the fstop and iso. I also had a little lighting from window and landing.Equipment
The image was taken free hand I prefer more natural or candid shots and when your in confined space or working with kids or animals they are not always reliable you have to move with them. I used a wide angle lens 17mm length the camera was set to a high shutter speed so I could capture her excitement.Inspiration
Truth be told :-) I had a santa beard of bubbles and Allyah and Rachel Allyah'svmum loved the hearty laugh we hadn't heard her laugh so hard. She kept lifting more bubbles to push in my face.Editing
The only editing needed was light and shadow adjustment I didn't want the image to change. By a little tweek the image remained natural and you can see what I seen the joy and amusement in her eyesIn my camera bag
I normally carry canon 60D with a Tameron prime lens 18-200mm, Canon 10-18mm wide angle, flash with reflectors ring light flash and tripod. This can change from time to time depending on weather I'm working or time of day.Feedback
I always say when people ask what I like about Photography? I want people to see what I seen. It's like if they where there with me. Sometimes we start processing an image and before we know it we loose the natural beautiful simplicity of what we have shot. Use your settings on your camera and trust your gut don't over process your work and above all have fun and engage with your subject. Don't take life to seriously.
