I took this photo of a hyacinth bud and converted the photo to black and white. I used to hand color black and white photos in film days and longed to do so again. I printed this on a matt fine art paper and sprayed a fixative on in and hand colored it with artist grade pastels.Although I am not an artist and have no experience with the medium I enjoyed the process and am pleased with the results!
