I took this at my wife's front garden in Orillia, Ontario, Canada.Time
I shot the photograph during the golden hour.Lighting
The natural light was just perfect on that day for that shot.Equipment
I shot this photo in Macro mode with s Sony ILCE-7RM2 Camera in August 2018. The aperture was f/6.3, at ISO 200, at a shutter speed of 1/250, with a focal length at 2400/10.Inspiration
I enjoy gardens and butterflies. I always try to capture them. They are cute and sometimes hard to capture as in real world scenes (as opposed to Butterfly arboretums) they often flitter away as you get close enough to take a macro shot.Editing
Yes in most cases I use Lightroom classic to import, catalog, and post-process my photographs. I try to recapture what my eyes saw.In my camera bag
In this case it was just me and the camera. The photograph I shot without a tripod.Feedback
Patience is the key to capturing wild life whether it be insects, birds or mammals. It is also wise to mount the appropriate lens to fit the circumstances.
