Sand Falls - Upper Antelope Canyon
The weather was calm when we went into the canyon. Little did we know, that a storm was brewing. The winds picked up and made the sand start falling onto our heads, all over the camera gear. I luckily wrapped up my camera before the tour after reading horror stories of people getting sand in their lenses and sensors etc. I used gallon zip-lock bags and duct tape. It didn't look pretty, but it worked, and it no-doubt saved me. I was repeatedly blowing sand OFF of the plastic bag and lens glass. Literally immediately after we got out of the canyon, the guides declared a flash flood warning and canceled all other tours. The sky was dark and the wind was kicking. It was a very awesome experience all around.
