Im new to Viewbug even though I have been shooting for years for fun and personal prints etc. I figured what better setting for my first upload than the famous Horseshoe Bend? Taken 7-18-18

My Wife and I just visited Horseshoe bend (and many other locations) on our annual "Anniversary vacation". We had a very packed vacation itinerary, so we only had one shot at Sunset here. Here it is. So excited about finally being able to photograph this iconic spot after years of it being on our list of places.

Notes: When we first arrived, I set up my tripod and all of my gear. I put my 24-105 F4L and went to frame the shot. Much to my surprise it was nowhere near wide enough (even with the full frame sensor making the 24mm equivalent to about 14-16mm on crop sensor?). So I immediately threw on my (much cheaper) Rokinon 14mm (Manual) lens that I purchased solely for night photography and star-milkyway shots. I must say, it is an impressive lens for the cost !
