Sunset at the Morton Overlook in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I love this overlook at sunset because the winding road makes for some nice car trails as well!

I shot this with the "Nifty Fifty" because I just smashed a 16-35 F2.8L II a couple days before. (Yikes $1600 lens I know). I was hiking and decided to try and step onto some slippery rocks in a stream (while carrying the camera attached to the tripod). Naturally I extended my arms to stop the fall, and hit directly on the lens. Snapped the mount of the lens right off and was forced to shoot the entire vacation with only the EF 50mm 1.8 ($100 lens)
