This photo is a tribute and an anti-tribute at the same time.
From one side it was inspired by all those amazing sci-fi books written by legendary writers like Bradbury, Lem, Heinlein and many others, retro book covers, movies and some of the awesome computer games I've played. I admire them all for their imagination and creativity and I'm very happy to be inspired by them. ????
But from the another side this is an anti-tribute to Sir Ridley Scott and the continuation of the alien franchise and how his ego killed what he gave birth to in the seventies. In my opinion "Alien: Covenant" looks like all those short movies about safety at work, which teaches people what they shouldn't do at their workplaces in order not to be hurt or killed and I totally agree with Screen Junkies about how really, really, really, ridiculously bad this movie is and if someone would like to throw a stone or a rotten tomato at me for this, feel free, because I can take it and use it as a material for creating a new scene. Life is a garbage hunt and you can use everything you find in nature and on the streets as Artist Keri Smith says and I totally agree with her.
This photo was taken on SONY Alpha NEX-6 and a retro lens KMZ Industar-61 50mm F2.8 L-Z from 1991.

So, curiosity question - how would you rate "Alien: Resurrection" if you really really really didn't like "Alien: Covenant"? I was not too impressed with resurrection myself...really not impressed... Great composition btw - was this done in a tank? How did you get the tiny bubble effects? (If its a secret then don't tell..shhhhh)

A bit more than zero, because of Sigourney Weaver and some interesting ideas they had, but they couldn't make it work ((( Thank you so much! No, I did it without water. Those aren't bubbles, this is just sand, I was throwing it through the skull with long impulse setting on my flashes to archive this effect.
