This shot is the best birthday present of my life, right from the most incredible land I've ever seen, Iceland!
This is another famous Icelandic resort, at the foot of the Vestrahorn, another symbolic mountain of the country, defined among other things as a photographer's paradise!
I was in position for hours to do another of the shots that I had planned, as for "ICELAND", in fact, I was looking for a photo that also included the Milky Way just above the Vestrahorn!
Everything was ready, but the weather conditions were unfortunately not on my side, the clouds covered most of the sky.
Because of the weather, I have traveled hundreds of kilometers between this and another beautiful place (you'll see it soon) but once again I decided not to give up, happy to celebrate in that place my next birthday.
I was waiting for the right moment in my car, and looking out the window, I see the clouds begin to disappear, leaving more and more breath to those wonderful and bright stars; I go out and I move towards the SLR very excited
The Milky Way was just where I wanted it to be even if it was still covered, but in a few minutes it happened what I never expected!
The sky began to dye green, the reflections in front of my feet reflected that acrobatic dance of the northern lights, while the clouds finally gave way to the Milky Way that, incredibly, remained uncovered for a few minutes right inside the center of the Vestrahorn!

A panoramic shot that I performed with my hands trembling with emotion and with my heart in my throat aware of the unique moment I was experiencing!

A shot that cost me a lot of time but that comes right on my birthday, shortly after midnight!
