The weird bird, tormented by sorrows

Там, в глубине моего изможденного сердца, живёт птица, истерзанная печалями и болезнями. Она почти не видит своего крошечного мира, свитого из темноты и тоски. Лишь напряжённо вслушивается в монотонные ритмы пульсирующих стен... И эту призрачную музыку не нарушает ничего кроме тумана, что с хрипом выходит из ее застарелых ран. Это её царство - утопия скорбей и боли. Иногда я рассказываю ей о Луне, о том, что снится деревьям осенними ночами, а она прижимает к себе маленькое тусклое зеркало, которое никогда ничего не отражает и вглядывается в пустоту всем своим естеством.

In the depths of my emaciated heart lives a weird bird, tormented by sorrows and diseases. She almost doesn't see her tiny world, woven from darkness and melancholy.
She only listens intently to the monotonous rhythms of the pulsating walls and this ghostly music is not interrupted by anything except fog that comes out with a hoarse noise from her old wounds. This is her kingdom - the utopia of afflictions and pain.
Sometimes I tell her about the pale moon, about the dreams of trees in the autumn nights, but she just presses to her chest a small dim mirror that never reflects anything and looks at the void with her whole being.
