This is a Golden eagle who has not reached adulthood yet. The head feathers are not all to their full golden colour yet. This was at a birds of prey show put on by Island Raptors on Vancouver Island at the Alan Brooks Nature Centre near Vernon, BC. This is a very impressive bird!!!
