We were at the White River Snow Park last week. A popular place in winter time for Snowshoeing and Cross country skiing. In the Summer, it's a hiking destination. At 4200', it was a little taxing on my breathing. The flowers are Purple Penstemon. I used a 4" tripod, and placed it basically ground level to capture this, with Mt. Hood in the background.
