Like many of the water falls on the Cumberland Plateau and in Tennessee rather than flowing from a stream or river, this 60 foot waterfall is fed by springwater seeping from the walls of the cave above it and it empties into a sinkhole which goes beneath the rocks behind it and leads to an underground waterfall and river. This place is pure magic and it is where Disney chose to film the remake of The Jungle Book
Sparta, Tennessee.
