I took this picture from inside the massive cave that sits behind big Laurel Falls at the Virgin Falls state Natural Area in Sparta Tennessee. Because of the drought there was barely a trickle of water at the Falls but usually when rain is abundant these falls are thick and Furious and it is often difficult to get behind them into this cave. However this cave is so large there are five separate areas for campsites Within.

There was high contrast between the forest and the inside if the cave so I took multiple shots at different exposures

Canon 70D, kit zoom and ultra wide angle, nifty 50, numerous ND filters by B+W, and square NiSi filters, Bogan and Manfrotto tripod and monopod, the usual nick nacks and, of course, my Glock

Feedback

If you only have your cell phone a steady hand and numerous photos at different exposures. If you have your camera and gear definitely a tripod for numerous exposures and a couple of long exposures with some ND filters would help
