The most affordable 2x macro I could find! Oshiro 60mm f/2.8 2:1 LD UNC Full Frame "Ultra" macro. It's a manual-focus only, which is sometimes challenging because I have to move my body a lot for shots like this. Tripods or otherwise static supported shots are a real pain-in-the... The lens requires me to get right up in the face of all these tiny critters to "breathe into" a focus. But there's also an aperture ring right on the lens which is REALLY handy and I wish my telephoto had that. My friends call me a bug whisperer (and bird and frog and lizard, etc...) because I can somehow convince tiny critters that I'm not going to eat them long enough to hang out for photo shoots right in their faces.
