I have a very strong affinity to frogs, probably based in many happy childhood memories with my auntie and rescuing tadpoles from shrinking puddles in the local central park. Decades later, the number of shots I've taken of the frogs and lillies in my backyard pond over the last half year is ridiculous, but I was determined that I would eventually capture just the right alignment of frog, lily pad, and lily. My patience paid off. This photo is one of my favorites I've ever taken and it always makes me smile.
