Common emigrant butterfly on the web.

It became entangled in the spider's web...it struggled a lot and eventually stopped to regain strength. It attempted numerous times but was unsuccessful.
I felt bad and grabbed a stick to pry it free from the web. I'm not sure if what I did was right or wrong, but I did it.

Sorry !! I am fascinated by butterflies.
