Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Angkor Wat, Cambodia.

Time

In a very hot afternoon.

Lighting

Although there are many tall trees over there, the day was clear and the roots could be perfectly seen.

Equipment

I used my Sony mobile D6503.

Inspiration

These incredible roots and the magnificence of Mother Nature inspired me to take this and some other photos in the same place.

Editing

Just improved the contrast and light a little bit.

In my camera bag

As a complete but passionate photo amateur, I rarely take photos with my older digital camera Olympus VG-160, more often my previous camera Canon Powershot SX730 HS, taking with me extra batteries and a small "Gorilla" tripod. Very recently, I’m using my newest camera Canon EOS200d. Also, I'm using my Sony mobile phone camera sometimes.

Feedback

Who am I to give advices to others? I'm a laywoman. What I can say is that if you like photography, try to take photos of everything which call your attention or you like. Whenever possible, take into consideration the light, perspective and composition. Photography starts in your mind through your eyes and your images can tell a lot of things to others, help others, inform others. And, if you really like photography and you have no ideas, then… photograph what you have.
