Nostalgia

This photograph is from my latest series called 'Nostalgia'. It documents a group of young children from a small Kent village. It show them exploring and playing within some of the remote and abandoned spaces that us as their parents also used to play in as children. Since the housing boom and government funding cuts these spaces have been forgotten, fenced off and left to ruin. It talks about social issues such as over development, a now lack of fields and outdoor spaces as well as an uncertain future for our children.
