PNM Building in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico (ca 1985). More of the building is shown in a nearby upload.
Architectural details and finishes. Interesting contrasts of large flat wall planes (surfaces soften with straight-line and grid-work surface etching) with rounded (but nevertheless angle-cut on tops) air vents. The warm colors of the vents also contrasts with the harsh cold white planar surfaces.
The air vents are presumably part of the building's air-flow system, and would often be hidden from view on the roof or in maintenance-only back areas.
