I was heading to shoot the full moon rising at Culebra Peak (also uploaded), when I caught this view of the Blanca Peak massif north of me. Beautiful golden light, low-angle sun creating shadows that reveal the contours of the massif, and violet clouds overhead.
This massif is in south-central Colorado, just west of La Veta Pass, just north of the town of Fort Garland.
