My wife and I were in Oregon this past weekend and I got a chance to catch the sunset at the shipwreck of the Peter Iredale. There was another photographer there, shooting this gal in a red dress and the long dress blowing in the wind was catching my eye, so I asked them both if they mind if I took a shot of her facing the ocean, next to the Peter Iredale shipwreck. They agreed and this was the resulting image. This shot reminds me of the Greek Mythology of the "Siren" of the sea, who lured sailors to destruction, by the sweetness of their songs. Hence the title Siren of the Sea.
