As the area I visit a lot in the Netherlands, the Oostvaardersplassen, seems to have to many grazers you see animals like this pregnant mare resorting to grazing young reeds. Not very nutritional and also actually not good for the bird populations. who depend on the reed fields for the baltzing and nesting season
