This year, while not the greatest blooming year in the last five or so, was a year for large spreads of flowers in the fields. I usually don't get to see so much single color in a patch or as much as a large area like this.

Also appearing briefly amongst the Paintbrushes are: Queen Anne's Lace (white patchy bits in foreground), Claret Cups (those lavendery fuchsia things sprinkled in the back) a couple a Saddle Blankets (orange-yellow mid background) as well as a few False Daisies and some Prickly Poppies (pale yellow and white in the background).
