Location
This one was taken in my back yard. I'm a self taught photographer. It all started out as a hobby and still is.Time
It was taken in the late afternoon, early evening. Sun was still up but starting to set. I try not to take to many pictures in full sunlight I have found that full sunlight is too much light.Lighting
The lighting in this picture was a little bright until I did a little editing. I wanted the color of the rhododendron to stand out.Equipment
This shot was taken with a Canon Rebel T5 with a Canon 75-300mm lens. I bought this camera a little over 2 years ago and I absolutely LOVE it. It has done everything I have wanted it to do and so much more.Inspiration
I was taking lots of pictures of my rhododendron bush on the edge of my driveway. Many of the flowers and bees buzzing around. This one section of it caught my eye. So, this is how this picture came along.Editing
I did just a typical edit on it. The program I have found to use is very user friendly. In my camera bag
I normally have my Canon Rebel T5 and the standard lens that came with the camera. Along with my Canon 75-300mm lens. I love this camera. It has taken lots of amazing pictures. It goes just about everywhere with me. I'm always taken pictures.Feedback
Pay attention to the lighting around you. I like to try and have the sun at my back if at all possible. I have found that the sun light in my face or my lens doesn't produce the colors I am looking for. If it's behind me they seem to come out better.
