Behind The Lens

Location

Photo was taken in my front yard in Pennsylvania.

Time

This is probably one of my favorite pictures I have taken. My photography has improved over the last couple of years. I can't remember what time of day this was taken. I like to go out at random times in my yard and take photos of my flowers and insects.

Lighting

I can not remember what time of day this was, but I try to not shoot in the sun so much.

Equipment

Canon Rebel 6i. No Tripod used, 55 - 250 lens (which has become my favorite). I use this lens and camera a lot for my sons sport events.

Inspiration

I love taking wildlife and flower pictures.

Editing

I always shoot in RAW, I have just recently learned how to edit from RAW and save as a JPG to save to websites and such.

In my camera bag

I have a Canon Rebel 6i, I also have 3 different lens (18-55, 55-250, 70-300) as well and my UV covers on the ends which I love to reduce the glare down.

Feedback

I always try and focus on the smallest detail instead of the whole flower itself, for this picture I tried to focus on the ant.
