After The Subway, I was feeling pretty happy with myself. We began our hike out and perhaps I was feeling a little too confident. The rocks were wet and it was difficult finding a place to step. I slipped. Sitting there with my pants soaking wet, I looked down to a stream flowing through a crack between two rocks and this is where my inspiration for The Elements was born.
