Although a breezy day, there was a little light cloud and humidity rising from the surrounding jungle

Equipment

Canon SX170IS, I opted for the lightest camera that I had with me on my tour of Costa Rica that day, the sea was really whipping up and that Camera was the lightest and easiest to use and keep safe from the elements compared to my other equipment

Inspiration

It was the most unspoilt "wild" beach I've ever encountered in my travels and the drama was provided by the wind and sea interaction

If I'm off for a bit of wildlife or scenery spotting, I never leave home without my tripod, a good selection of zoom and macro lenses, my Canon SX170, my really old Nikon DSLR and my cheap bridge camera - Fuji finepix S8 (which actually performs so well for a cheapy)
