Many thanks, Jess. The graveyard beyond this gate is bright with spring flowers among weathered ancient gravestones and statues of angels - glorious!

There is something very familiar about these gates, linking churches in different parts of the country. I like the way the wall leads the viewer to and from the subject, with that lovely curve!
