Location
I took this on Guernsey Island in the UK, while our cruise ship was in port. I had walked up this hill, and was returning to the ship and noticed the leading lines of the building looking toward the harborTime
This was probably about mid-afternoon.Lighting
This was just natural available light.Equipment
D7100, hand held. F8, ISO 100. 18mm, so my lens was my Tamron 18-260 zoom.Inspiration
I looked the way the picture framed itself. I probably wouldn't have taken it if I hadn't climbed the steep stairs first. It made me appreciate how hilly the land was as you moved away from the low point of the harbor.Editing

When I was on this cruise, i had my backpack, with the D7100, the zoom lens, my 50mm and 35 mm lenses. Also spare batteries, and an SB800 flash, plus a light bender.Feedback
Look beyond the normal touristy photo (for example, of the harbor), and focus on something that relates to local life at that spot.
