Maybe this is a bit silly, however when I read about the Big Bend National Park in getting ready, I read something about a Lonesome Highway image that was taken as you are approaching Persimmon Gap from outside of the park. In fact, from the other side of this image is where I believe that is supposed to happen.

Didn't come in that way and leaving was close to sunset, so... this is MY "Lonesome Highway" image from the other direction. Does it still work?
