Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in London when I was wondering around the city with my parents, having no idea where we were. But as we had been to the Shard earlier that day, then this unknown street gave us an idea about our location.

Time

In the evening, when we had already wondered in the city the whole day and were quite exhausted from all the walking and sightseeing.

Lighting

Another cloudy day in London but as it was getting darker and we were in the middle of two very high buildings then this cloudy yet bright sky added a bit of dramatic effect on the Shard building.

Equipment

Only my Canon camera, nothing else.

Inspiration

This Shard building just surprised me when we turned onto that street and I liked how the Shard was so clear.

Editing

I just changed the photo to black and white, as I think then it is a bit more dramatic on the Shard.

In my camera bag

I usually just have my canon camera and a Macro lens.

Feedback

With skyscrapers it's interesting to look at them from different angles and capturing them a bit further away and to frame them wih another buildings!
