I captured this wildlife picture of a Gulf Fritillary Butterfly on a Spanish needle flower at the Canaveral National Seashore. This beautiful insect is fairly common along the eastern sea board and commonly seen in central Florida. The Canaveral National Seashore National Park is bounded on the north by Apollo Beach and the John F. Kennedy Space Center to the South. The Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge is also south of it.
