Here's another image of the milk fats of cream (from my previous cup) that melt out and float on top of my freshly poured hot coffee. Once I noticed this happening, I purposely hoped to catch it. Careful stirring is required to keep from making the droplets too small or letting them all bump and coalesce by being too slow.

Then I waited until it looked sort of like I hoped.
