This awesome little ant appears to me as though it's in awe of the light on the river.

It is in fact having a wash This frame was captured as the ant re adjusted and the pose is down to pure luck!
Now that the summer is FINALLY here I will be spending much of my time photographing insects and plants and experimenting with some new techniques.

This ant was photographed in the wild. Never trap anything for a picture. We as photographers should have subjects and not victims.

This is a delightful photograph!! A beautifully atmospheric composition. The expression of joy in this photograph feels very real to me too and reminds me of something I read the other day. If I remember right Antonio Damasio, a neuroscientist, is trying to prove that ants have emotions. Anyway, thanks for sharing this amazing photo!
