Winter Warmth

Catherine had brought with here a few costume changes to vary her look for the shoot.

When she donned her jacket with the faux fur rimmed hood, I could see some potential, as it would frame her face. The neutral tones of the hood were complimentary to her skin tones and did not compete for attention. So not to impose myself upon her, I chose to use my 70-200 mm lens. Taking a few images, I found that cropping in tightly and filling the frame with her from the neck up really was the desired look. It was one of those “That’s the Shot!” moments we never get enough of.
