Smoke from huge forest fires in Arizona drifted into Northern New Mexico, creating a special light at sunset. Shot with a telephoto lens, which resulted in the foreshortening effect. The most distant ridge is the Jemez mountains. The nearer hills lie in the Rio Grande Valley.

Details: Canon EOS D60, Canon 100-400 mm IS lens at 400 mm, ISO 100, f-13, 1-60 sec.
