Taken during a winter photography class in Yosemite Valley.This frosted leaf was captured on 35-mm slide film--probably Velvia or Ektachrome 100. The image on the scanned slide was cropped, so what you see is probably about 25% of the original. I've had it enlarged to a 20" x 30" giclée print and was amazed that the ice crystals were still sharp.

Camera was a Canon EOS 3, Canon 50 mm f-1.4 lens(handheld).
