There it stood. Right next to the path that lead to the beautiful natural stone tower, looking over the magnificent views of Aulanko park. The spruce had probably stood there for a century or two. It had already gathered some moss, but it didn't matter. It felt like it was embracing the newcomers growing on its bark.

Once again I found myself at mökki - the Finnish summer cottage.

The sea was barely frozen when we arrived. Sky was clear, for the first time in months. Felt like spring.

Since we still don't have proper snow in Southern Finland, I need to shoot the occasional frost.
