This photo was taken at Whitewater Draw in Southern Arizona. The area from Wilcox to the border near Douglas is a Wintering place for migrating Sandhill cranes.Time
It was early in the morning along the trail through the Draw. As there are many birds in this area, the Harrier was waiting for an opportune snack.Lighting
As it was a chilly morning and there was some mist on the Draw, the reflection on the water and empty background with no horizon added an effect of solitude.Equipment
