The Proboscis monkey is amazing and bizarre animal to see from up close. I never knew how much time these animals spend way up high in the trees. On my visit to Borneo it took 2 full days for close encounter. The pair I was trekking never even changed the tree of their choice. They ate, played and slept 25 meter above my head and there was no picture opportunity for a 200mm lens. Almost all hope was lost when on the morning of my departure I was able to come close enough and take this portrait of a big male (and its majestic orange nose), who was having an early morning snack.
