Humboldt Redwoods State Park is certainly one of the most beautiful and untouched natural areas in the US. A small trail along the Avenue of the Giants took me to the large base of an old fallen tree. I am a 6'6 (2m) guy and I must say I felt quite insignificant climbing the massive roots crown.
