I've been wanting to visit this place for a long time and eventually got the opportunity in 2016. Jokulsàrnon has got to be seen to be believed. Huge icebergs of 10,000 year old ice calved from the magnificent Breiðamerkurjökull Glacier float gracefully in the pure water before heading off to the sea. It's a day I shall never forget.
