Not a very impressive photo but if left a lasting impression on me. You can't help but wonder what the two opposants were thinking as the " débarquement " took place on Dieppe Beach. The allied forces throwing themselves in harm's way and the German soldiers firing at them while being fairly well protected inside their thick walled bunkers. An epic event depicting the best and the worst of humanity.
