There were several ponies around on my walk here, but this one appealed to me. She looked very much as if she was in foal and perhaps soon, if I take another walk along this track, I'll see her with her foal.
The track here is what is left of an old railway track which ran from Princetown to Yelverton in the Dartmoor National Park. I believe it was closed down and dismantled sometime in the 1950's. Nowadays it is a popular track for walkers, joggers, and cyclists - with some beautiful views along the route over the Walkham Valley and the Dartmoor landscape.
