Location
The photo was taken in Burrator Wood in the Dartmoor National Park UKTime
The photo was taken mid-May around 1 p.m when there was nothing to hear but birdsong, with the scent of the bluebells to add to the atmosphere.Lighting
The sunlight breaking through the tree canopy created some lovely dappled light illuminating the fresh green leaves and bluebells.Equipment
This was shot with a Nikon D750 and my 'walkabout' Nikon 28-300 mm lens, handheld.Inspiration
I love to take photos of bluebells, which can be in flower any time between mid-April to mid-May, and this is one of my favourite spots to do so.Editing
Just the usual post-processing of the raw file in Lightroom, possibly reducing highlights and lifting shadows, and some sharpening. Colour as shot.In my camera bag
Just the camera and lens, and sometimes polarising filter.Feedback
Try to photograph the bluebells fairly early in their season, before they become trampled - and in this location before they become obscured as the bracken unfurls and takes over.
