This shot is of one of the abandoned buildings in the Royal William Victualling Yard. The Yard was designed by Victorian architect Sir John Rennie and constructed between 1825 and 1831, and is steeped in history. The Royal William Yard is considered to be one of the most important groups of historic military buildings in Britain, it is also the largest collection of Grade 1 listed military buildings in Europe. It was the major victualling depot of the Royal Navy for some years and was finally released from the MOD in 1992.
Nowadays it is an area of major development which includes restaurants, art centres and smart flats.
