Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken on a trip in Rurrenabaque - Bolivia.

Time

I took this picture when I went back from a boat trip like to 6 am, I remember that day it was so cold and I hadn’t much battery on the camera, this was one of the last shoot of this day, this was taken on january 6, 2014 at around 6:00 AM.

Lighting

I wanted to picture looks a paint from a dream place, the dawn helped me to equilibrate the lights on the photo and gives a special effect like a painting.

Equipment

This was shot with a nikon D5200 and an 18-55mm lense.

Inspiration

I was inspired to take this picture across the connection we have with nature and finding inner peace with oneself and with our surroundings.

Editing

when I was revealed the picture. I calibrated a little on the lights but without destroying the original image.

In my camera bag

I have always brought with me to a photo adventure a Nikon D5200 with a 18-55mm lens because is the only that I have, and my cell phone with eyefish and macro lenses, and a sandwich, a bottle of water and my iPod with some music.

Feedback

You need to have on mind what you want to take, some colors, perspective, angle, many ideas, and be patient when you take a picture, you need to go into the ecosystem. Don’t forget to take with you food, water and clothes for the occasion.
