Location
I took this image on a winter trip to cairngorns national park, Scotland.Time
I found that capturing images like this one had to be done early in the morning, as the deer can get spooked easily during the day.Lighting
It is all natural lighting with sun at the side of me, I was very luck as most of the other days were overcast.Equipment
The only equipment I used for this image were a nikon d610 and a sigma 300mm lens.Inspiration
I love wildlife in general so I dont need much inspiration or motivation to take images.Editing
Just a little crop as I took it in portrait which gave me too much sky.In my camera bag
In my bag I currently have a nikon z6, sigma 150-600mm, sigma 85mm lens and a sigma 105 macro plus inhale my manfrotto tripod.Feedback
Being able to stay completely still for long periods of time is a bonus. I usually shoot on 800 shutter speed because they dont stay still for long.
